The quest
Ferguson Point faces the last light north-west of centre, Vancouver. The quest is standing still until three lights stay on after the sun.
Steps
- Arrive at Ferguson Point twenty minutes before sunset. Stay on public ground — not a bike lane, not a road deck.
- Watch until the disk is gone. Name three lights that stay on.
- Leave the way you came. Do not climb railings or cut through private docks.
Why this is on the board
Ferguson Point is one of the spots north-west of centre, Vancouver where Vancouver actually faces the sky. You get the last colour of the day and a few minutes of standing still a patio will not sell you.
Safety. Park roads and seawall traffic. The edge is a drop to rocks and water. Not a stroller quest. Leave before you need a flashlight you do not have.
