Skip the patio. Stand on public ground at Trans-Canada Trail for the end of the day, then walk out the way you came.

Steps

1. Arrive at Trans-Canada Trail twenty minutes before sunset. Stay on public ground — not a bike lane, not a road deck.
2. Watch until the disk is gone. Name three lights that stay on.
3. Leave the way you came. Do not climb railings or cut through private docks.

Why this is on the board

Trans-Canada Trail is one of the spots south-east of centre, Kitchener where Kitchener actually faces the sky. You get the last colour of the day and a few minutes of standing still a patio will not sell you.
